Help & Support
How can we help?
Find guidance on using the hub, our community guidelines and how to get in touch with us.
Community guidelines
This is an online space for organisations who support children and young people experiencing poverty in London. It has been designed to enable organisations to connect, share experiences, and access peer support. To ensure this remains a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, all members are required to adhere to the following standards, and have agreed to do so by signing up.
Respect and inclusion
- This is a supportive space, treat every member with respect. Personal attacks, harassment, bullying or derogatory language will not be tolerated and such content will be removed.
- Keep your contributions relevant to the purpose of this hub. The hub is not a space for posting or discussing grant decisions or the outcome of applications to The Childhood Trust for funding.
Sharing and attribution
- Do not share images or personal stories of others without their explicit, informed consent.
Safety and privacy
- Never share personal contact details (e.g. telephone numbers, home addresses, or private email addresses) for yourself or anyone else in public posts. Do not share your log in details with anyone else.
- If you are worried about the safety or welfare of a child or vulnerable person, do not post this on the public forum. Follow your organisation’s own safeguarding procedure, contact the relevant emergency services or your local safeguarding lead immediately.
Commercial activity and advertising
We do not allow spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotion of third-party services.
Reporting concerns
- If you see something that makes you feel uncomfortable or violates these guidelines, use the 'report' button on the post. Every report is treated with confidentiality and care.
- The Childhood Trust reserves the right to remove content, limit access, or suspend accounts that do not comply with these rules. Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our community.
